About Us:

Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization, which seeks to aid its members in attaining their financial goals. Since 1940 our goal has been to provide and promote the use of a variety of financial services which feature particular benefits and advantages over those generally available from other sources in order to help members gain some measure of personal financial success.

As a member of the credit union, you are not just a depositor or borrower as in a bank. You are one of the owners.

Membership groups:

Membership in Heinz - Del Monte FCU is open to people in the following groups:

  1. Employees of H.J. Heinz Company who work in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
  2. Employees of Portion Pac., Inc. who work in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dallas, Texas, or La Mirada, California.
  3. Employees of Heinz Pet Products, division of Starkist Foods, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Del Monte Foods Inc., who work in Weirton, West Virginia.
  4. Employees of Bay Valley Foods.
  5. Employees of Heinz Company L.P.
  6. Employees of Del Monte Foods Company.
  7. Spouses of persons who died while in the field of membership; Employees of the credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immeadiate families*; and organizations of such persons;

*Definition of "members of their immediate families" includes spouses, children, legally adopted children, foster children, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers-in-law, fathers-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and all children of the above. Also, anyone living in the same household, not necessarily a relative.
