If you prefer that we do not disclose information about you to parties that are not affiliated with the credit onion, you my "opt out" of these disclosures. That is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures. This "opt out" will not apply to disclosures that are permitted by law and will not apply to disclosures to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. If you wish to "opt out" of disclosures to parties that are not affiliated with the credit union, you may send a letter to the Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union requesting to "opt out" of having your information disclosed to 3rd parties not required by law.
Customer Identification Program
As required by the USA Patriot Act of 2001, which requires Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union must obtain basic identifying information from you and verify that information when you open a new account.
This means Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union staff will ask you for some basic information such as your name, address, date of birth and other information designed to help us identify you. Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union staff may also ask to see documents identifying you too such as a driver's license, passport or some other government-issued document. Heinz - Del Monte Federal Credit Union appreciates your patience and understanding as we all do our part in complying with the new account identification procedures required by the Federal USA Patriot Act of 2001.
